This photo says everything about how SKC and our community partners feel about happy endings for the families we serve. They are hard faught, hard won happy endings, and SKC, our families, our partners, and our supporters, rejoice equally every single time we get there. This photo respresents the moment we were able to provide Deborah with the check to cure her eviction, keeping her family warm and safe in their home for the holidays, and beyond! Hers was one of four families that we successfully prevented from being evicted from their homes in November and December.

Our community's kindness, compassion, and generosity make a real difference to our organization and to the families we serve. A special Thank You to Don Bennett and his team, including tellers Diamond, Mimi, and Erica, who helped us with the process and cheered us along each step of the way, going above and beyond to get things ready in time. When Deborah burst into happy tears, there was real true emotion in the bank. An that was why Don joined us in a happy dance!
