Bridges Program
A team of volunteers will help underserved families access services that will help stabilize their lives. Our team will assist insecurely housed families with finding and accessing critical resources.
The support provided through the Bridges Program is crucial as many of these community organizations are struggling to provide services due to COVID. Their threads are unraveling – some have shut down, some are not answering phone calls or emails – and most do not have the ability to assist people in navigating the application process. These families are also unraveling, they are getting lost in the rabbit hole of confusing, missing, or incomplete information as to how to access these important resources. Our goal is to provide support in finding and accessing these organizations – strengthening the threads that allow these families to meet their basic needs.
We strive to fill the gaps and connect the space between services. It looks like finding a temporary housing solution until a space in a shelter is available, or guiding an individual through the paperwork journey to access state-funded health services, and so much more.
